Girls Cruise

 Girls Cruise ’05

Grab your girlfriends and join Smitty and friends for a weekend of giggles, relaxation, pampering and just plain ‘ol SISTERHOOD!

Next year’s Girls Cruise 2017 will be a Thurs-Sun, 3-night cruise on the Carnival Imagination….

Carnival ImaginationItinerary

The fun begins when we board the ship, our home for the next four days. The ship will dock right next to the beautifully refurbished Queen Mary! (and if you haven’t done a tour of her yet, you might think about arriving the day before and spend the night on the Queen Mary – this iconic ship is worth seeing.)IMG_6105.JPG

Once you are on board, you can have lunch on the Lido deck, check out your cabin, explore the ship, make your spa appointments or enjoy an umbrella drink at the pool – It’s YOUR time to do as you wish!
DiningFun copyDinner is always full of fun and entertainment, whether it be your waiter or tablemates, so be sure to bring your camera to the dining room! (… and remember, dining at any of the restaurants is included in your cruise fare)

After dinner, there are a variety of entertainment options, depending on what you want to do – the many lounges offer different performer(s), a broadway type show might be happening in the Theatre or you may just want to sit and chat with newly made friends.

Day two animalWhen you return to your cabin, you will find the Carnival Fun Times, with the listings of ALL of the next day’s activities … and maybe a new friend???

DAY 2 – Ensenada – Today you might want to do a shore excursion out to La Buffadore (one of the world’s few Blow Holes), sample some local wine or go horseback riding … LaBuffadora1OR just stay onboard and enjoy the pool and do nothing (TIP: There are often discounted spa specials during port days too!)

Tonight will be ‘dress up’ night so plan to bring something a little fancy to wear to dinner (and fancy means whatever you think is fancy). The photographers will have a variety of backdrops, so you can have formal photographs taken … of you, you with your roommate, a group of friends – whomever you want (and you only pay for the ones you like and want to purchase!).

DAY 3 – At Sea – Today is the day you will have all day to do whatever you want (within reason of course! haha). For me, the ‘At Sea’ days are my favorite – I call them ‘forced relaxation’ days (and I just can’t get enough of them!)

DAY 4 – Disebarkation – The fun comes to a close when we return back to Long Beach, say good-bye to our friends, both new and ‘seasoned’ (and pinky swear that what happens on the cruise stays on the cruise)!

Now for the Fun Part

… Picking out your cabin!

The cruise fares cited below include: your cabin, meals and the ship’s entertainment. Not included (but available at a nominal fee) are spa treatments, various beverage packages, casino activity (when at sea), shopping AND the chance to kick back and share laughter with new and seasoned friends!

Cabin Choices

We have selected two options for you: Ocean View Cabins (6C Category, which is on the Main Deck) or Interior Cabins (4C Category, which would also be across the hall on the Main Deck). Other cabin categories are also available for the going rate at the time you book.

Prices are for double occupancy. Solo, triple and quad cabins are also available at a slightly different price.

Ocean View Cabin (6C)

Ocean View Cabin (6C)

Ocean View Cabin (6C) is $354 per person, plus the required Taxes and Port Charges of $81.50 per person. Travel Insurance will also be added at just $49 (you can ‘opt out’ of the insurance, however, I must have that in writing.)

Interior Cabin (4C)

Interior Cabin (4C) is $309 per person, plus the required Taxes and Port Charges of $81.50 per person. Travel Insurance will also be added at just $49 (you can ‘opt out’ of the insurance, however, I must have that in writing.)

Sooooo figure out who you want to be your roommate, decide whether you want an Ocean View or Interior Cabin and then fill out the form below and email it back to me!

HOW TO BOOK “Girls Cruise 2017”:

  1. You and your roommate(s) will need to fill out Girls Cruise Booking (one per cabin). Email the completed form to me: (or just call me at (805) 550-5636.)
  2. I will get your cabin booked as close as I can to the other cabins (it will just depend on how full the ship is) and email both of you the booking confirmation.
  3. You will have a few days to review it (we can tweak as necessary).
  4. Once everything looks good and I have you and your roommate(s) approval via email, then I will call each of you for your credit card information.
  5. At that time, a non-refundable deposit of $198 deposit will be due – that will secure your cabin until the final payment is due, which won’t be until Aug. 7, 2017. (NOTE: If you book after Aug. 7, 2017, the full amount will be due at the time you book.)

TiaraSo go call your friends (especially those you haven’t seen in awhile) and see how many of them you can get to come along!

This will be the 4th Girls Cruise (previous years were ’05, ’06’ and ’09) and they are just a LOT of fun! (By the way, the two rules are: No Men and No Whining …. and I have a particularly ugly tiara for you to wear if you whine! haha)

Looking forward to seeing you on board the Carnival Imagination Oct. 5th, 2017!!!
